How do you figure that? If he got one previous, you must think he should have WinCE 5 which isn't out yet, and certainly wasn't for the He got exactly what was advertised and what he should have gotten. Jabba Distinguished. May 1, 66 0 18, 0. Ken, that would be one of the worst replies to a post I have seen in this newsgroup Thanks again for the info, all. So putting aside Ken's confusingly mean-spirited response not sure where he got the impression that I was bitching, nor why he seems to think that everyone should understand the nuances of kernel OS's and PPC UI's before posting a pretty innocent question in the appropriate newsgroup I'm still a bit confused.
Or am I missing something? Thanks again, and to those celebrating Thanksgiving, Happy Holiday! No, no, you got what was intended and advertised. There is a bit of difference in the applications included in the professional and premium suites. The comes with the more complete one in ROM. So few folks even know that there is a difference, it takes some digging to find out what the difference is. The smaller suite was more prevalent early on when some manufacturers did not install all the usual apps into ROM to use a smaller ROM and save cost.

This paper is concerned with the efficiency of a certain fast-wavelet-transform FWT implementation and several wavelet filters, more suitable for constrained devices. Such constraints are typically found on mobile cell phones or personal digital assistants PDA.
These constraints can be a combination of; limited memory, slow floating point operations compared to integer operations, most often as a result of no hardware support and limited local storage.
Yet these devices are burdened with demanding tasks such as processing a live video or audio signal through on-board capturing sensors. We will demonstrate that HeatWave is suitable for realtime applications with fine control and range to suit transform demands.
We shall present experimental results to substantiate these claims. Finally this library is intended to be of real use and applied, hence we considered several well known and common embedded operating system platform differences; such as a lack of common routines or functions, stack limitations, etc.
This makes HeatWave suitable for a range of applications and research projects. Continue with Facebook. Sign up with Google. Log in with Microsoft. Bookmark this article. Once the data is downloaded to the device the user will then open the application on the device and manipulate the data that was downloaded. Once the user is done making all the modifications to the data, the data is then uploaded back to the SQL database table and updates the table with the modified data from the device. You can write a desktop application that accesses the SQL database, sends the data to the attached device, waits for a signal, and then retrieves the changed data and sends them back to the database.
The app would use RAPI to send to and retrieve from the attached device. And note that those two functions are not quite the same. One always returns immediately, with an error code that indicates whether the device is attached. The other doesn't return until a device is attached.
I would have the app copy the data into a text file using whatever format works well for you. The app on the device can create a signal file when it's done, and the desktop app can look for that. Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me the easest way to download data from a SQL database table to a device so an applicaiton on the device can manipulate the data and send it back to the SQL Database table?
I actually saw your other thread but I can not answer as you provide no details on your specific goals. Either way Visual Studio is the last version that supports that OS. Visual Studio. Net Supports. Net Compact Framework 1. Net 1. Net 2. It's a Windows Mobile Second Edition device.
