Joined Aug 12, Messages 7. I've been searching all these removal sites that give instructions for manual removal than I found you guys, so before I roll the dice again, I need to ask a professional how to get rid of it.
I know there are others that are asking you the same thing but I can't figure out how to find what you're telling them to do. My profile has all the info about my CPU that I can find, if there's more you need you need to tell me where to look. I'm getting all the stuff I hear everyone else gets with this virus. My desktop background immediately disappeared to a solid blue screen, the tray pop-up keeps coming up all the time along with a screen that keeps telling me about the threat levels in my computer with a recommendations button that redirects you to IE where it gives you the purchase options page So please tell me that you can help me manually or with the Symantec AntiVirus I'm currently running, remove this bugger.
Oh yeah, btw, someone said you can just use your system restore facility to, you know, go back when? Maybe yes maybe no What are these "Tags" all these little icons up above are talking about?
What is a tag, for that matter, what's a thread? Superantispyware did completely remove the XP Antivirus malware. I really appreciate your help with this.
Thanks SipSizzurp. Thanks for the heads up. The key here to keep in mind is that there is no such thing as a perfect tool; malware requires the use of multiple tools IMHO in order to ensure proper removal.
